NEWS

Clallam County Literacy Council provides Bookworm Baskets to businesses and agencies in the county. Volunteers place baskets of children’s books in restaurants and other places where children may have to wait. From Neah Bay to Sequim to Forks to Port Angeles, council members enjoy sharing the joy of reading. In a little over a year the Bookworm Club has doubled in size and now more than 2000 books are available for young readers to enjoy while they wait for their doctor or dentist, wait while Mom or Dad’s car is serviced, or wait quietly before dessert is served in their favorite restaurant!
